Judge Myron “Mike” Mackoff, an environmental lawyer for the Illinois Attorney General for eight years–trying cases throughout Northern Illinois–was appointed by the Illinois Supreme Court to the Circuit Court of Cook County in 2016. After serving briefly in traffic court, he moved to the Domestic Relations division where he presides over cases involving divorce, custody, parenting-time disputes and orders of protection. He is also an adjunct professor at the Northwestern University School of Law.

Judge Mackoff is now running for a full term in Chicago’s 8th Sub-Circuit.
